Admission Requirements

Academic Criteria

2.75/4.0 minimum required Grade Point Average (G.P.A.) OR 8/10 minimum required Mexico Promedio

Students with a GPA of 2.3 to 2.74 will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

High School Transcript

Applicants must provide an official copy of their high school transcript. The transcript should have the original stamp from the issuing authority.

ACT or SAT Score

A minimum ACT or SAT score is not required to be admitted, but the ACT or SAT will be used for academic placement. If you have not taken the ACT or SAT, you will need to take a placement exam before you register for classes in your first semester.

English Proficiency

Incoming undergraduate students must meet one of the following criteria:

Completed two years in an English-speaking country and graduated High School Graduate from USA, UK, Canada (except Quebec), Australia and New Zealand

*Test scores should come from the test providers, such as TOEFL, iTEP, IELTS. The A-State CQ code is 6011.

Please note that all transcripts must be sent to the Arkansas State University Jonesboro, Arkansas in United States of America (USA) directly from the institution attended.

All academic records must be originals or certified copies with the original seal of the issuing institution, or Ministry of Education, signed by an appropriate authority.

TRANSFER

Academic Criteria

2.0/4.0 minimum required college Grade Point Average (G.P.A.) OR 7/10 minimum required in Mexico.

College Transcript

Applicants must provide an official copy of their college transcript. The transcript should have the original stamp from the issuing authority.

Note: If you want to transfer credits from a university in any country other than the U. S., you must send an official copy of your college transcript in a sealed envelope to the following address:

You must also provide the syllabus in English of each of the courses you are going to transfer.
